Babelouette profile and data deletion

Babelouette uses an online guest player profile to retain your username, progress, and results. You can request permanent deletion of this profile and its associated information.

Delete the profile directly in the game

If you still have access to Babelouette:

  1. open the Profile panel from the main menu;
  2. select Delete my profile;
  3. confirm the deletion.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Information deleted

Deletion includes, in particular:

  • the profile, player identifier, and username;
  • progress, points, and scores;
  • boss progress;
  • discovered expressions and grimoire favourites;
  • any quiz attempts still present;
  • associated sessions and refresh tokens.

The profile is also removed from the public leaderboard. When deletion is performed from within the game, the application also erases the identity and session information stored on the device.

Request deletion after uninstalling the game

If you no longer have access to the game, email privacy@egakogames.com with the subject Babelouette profile deletion and provide the exact username of the profile concerned.

Egako will process the request manually and may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to locate the correct profile and assess whether the request is legitimate.

Babelouette does not collect your email address when the profile is created. The address used to contact us is therefore not automatically associated with the profile. The username allows us to locate a profile, but it is not conclusive proof of ownership by itself. We will not delete a profile when a request appears ambiguous, abusive, or insufficiently supported.

Never send an access token, refresh token, or any other secret session information by email.

We will process the request within a reasonable period and within the deadlines required by applicable law. If certain information must be retained for a legal obligation, security, or fraud prevention, we will explain what must be retained and why.
